Nguzo Africa empowers, connects and advocates for transformative governance and sustainable development for the prosperity of current and future generations. Nguzo Africa in partnership with Uraia Trust is implementing “Rooting Democracy in Kenya through an Informed Citizenry” – Phase Two in Narok County. United for Narok project seeks to promote citizen participation, engagement and oversight in Narok county governance processes.
To realize the project results, we are recruiting two theater groups one to undertake activities in Transmara -(Kilgoris and Emurua Dikirr) and the other in Narok -(West, South, North and East). The theater group shall undertake participatory theater on various civic education themes on devolution, gender mainstreaming and public participation through market based outreaches, public barazas and community outreaches.
The theater group should have pre-requisite skills and capacity to undertake the participatory theater work. Capacity of successful groups shall be build on civic education and participatory theater.
